The world is changing rapidly and indigenous people require skills to adapt in the rapidly changing world. These obstacles include lack of platform to absorb or impart knowledge and various kinds of skills and tools. The lives of indigenous people could be greatly improved if these obstacles could be overcome and if people and groups were given greater support to accomplish their potential. Effective capacity building must be a long-term process not a short-term project. TEST will work with partners to ensure indigenous peoples and groups obtain the support they need tailored to their individual needs and long-term goals. TEST teams with partners - including Government, local authorities, businesses and NGOs - to facilitate processes that can help indigenous people fulfil their long-term goals.

RESEARCH & COMMUNICATION
The traditional culture of indigenous peoples in Tanzania and their ecology are changing. So is the world around them. Local communities cherish the good old ways. TEST will document in both film, songs and stories the past ways of these indigenous groups in relation to the land. The younger generations need help with adapting the old ways to the modern world. TEST wants to play a key role in documenting the lives of people who live in the area, both the old ways and the new ways, and enabling people to adapt smoothly to a changing world.
TEST believes in the power of numbers and unity. TEST will establish and strengthen partnerships at all levels that will enable achievements of the its vision and mission.
